Sido Black Pheno
Sido Black Pheno, is the nickname of Romeo « Sidoine » Togo, born on December 31, 1990 in Lomé in Togo. He is an author-compositor-interpreter and entrepreneur of Togolese & Malian origin resident in the Popular Republic of China. In the music industry since 2008, Sido Black Pheno is actually committed to ‘’Money Factory Cellule’’ the label he is a founding member of , and also the business affairs coordinator.
After years in the underground he quickly started collaborating with rappers like Kanaa, Rang des Gueules, De la rue 13; singer/producers such as Kollins, Ken Strik’Izy (Hustler Fabrik), Kurones and many others.
In 2010 he released a single titled ‘’Je suis réel’’ produced by The iRick that allows him to be nominated into the ‘’Best New Artist’’ category that same year at the ‘’Togo Hip-hop Awards’’, and an invitation to the renowned ‘’Gabao Hip hop Festival’’ in Gabon which he unfortunately couldn’t attend.
At the beginning of the year 2011, he collaborated with long-time friend Eddy Mufasa and from that, they jointly expressed the idea of setting up their own Record label before each travelling aside, Eddy to Italy and Sido to China.Once arrived in China, Sido had the opportunity to make a living in the Asian Show business by operating as an Emcee (TM) in the hottest nightclubs of the country, and several music festivals in China, Macau and South Korea where he shared the same scenes with international DJs (Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix etc …) and MC’s (Lil Jon, Fatman Scoop).
Together with the other artists, he is actually collaborating on the first ever album of the record label.
